Try this recipe using blk. water to brew a delicious tea for winter
On a chilly winter’s day, there is just something so comforting about sipping a cup of warm tea. This Russian Star Tea recipe unites citrus, cloves, and cinnamon to form a refreshingly fragrant beverage that will soothe your soul and inspire the senses.
But this tea is more than just delicious. It also delivers health benefits derived from the nutrients infused in blk. water. blk. water is purified alkaline water that contains fulvic minerals, electrolytes and antioxidants.
- Fulvic minerals support the effective breakdown, absorption and transportation of key nutrients in the body.
- Electrolytes help the body maintain an optimal fluid balance.
- Antioxidants protect cells from damage-causing free radicals.
The other ingredients have health benefits as well. Cloves contain antioxidants, orange juice is packed with immune-boosting vitamin C, and black tea has been shown to promote digestive health.
Russian Star Tea with blk. water Recipe:
- 1 cup orange juice, freshly squeezed
- ½ cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 tsp cloves, or three star anise
- Small cinnamon stick for each cup
- ½ cup loose or 4 teabags of your favorite black tea
- 4 cups of hot blk. water
Bring water to a gentle boil and add ingredients (except cinnamon stick) to tea strainer. Let it steep for at least 10 minutes for a full-bodied effect.
Strain tea into four teacups and add cinnamon stick and lemon slice for garnish. Sweeten with honey as desired. These claims have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
