How ripe should bananas be for banana bread?
The riper the better!! Bananas are their sweetest when they're covered in spots and are turning a little soft. Little tip: If you don't have time to whip up your banana bread right away, you can always throw those bananas in the freezer so they're the perfect amount of ripeness when you're ready to bake.
Here's our recipe for deliciously moist banana bread that's yummy and simple to make with a few blk. fulvic drops for more nutritional value. Here are the ingredients you will need:
• 2 cups whole wheat or All-purpose Flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon cinnamon
• ½ cup butter or vegetable oil**
• ½ cup brown sugar
• ¼ cup sugar
• 1 tsp blk. Drops
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 ⅓ cups mashed bananas
1.) Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 8x4 loaf pan
2.) Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Whisk to combine with blk. Drops until completely blended.
3.) Then combine butter and sugars in a medium bowl until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Stir in mashed bananas.
4.) Add dry ingredients and mix just until combined.
5.) Pour into prepared bread pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. **Do not over-bake (we want to keep that loaf delicious and moist!)
6.) Once ready you'll want to let it cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Then remove from pan and cool completely on a rack.
